Welcome to Chris Hawley Golf

A native of Walpole, MA, Chris discovered his love for golf at a young age. His passion for the game continued to flourish during his time at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, FL, where he honed his skills both on and off the course. Throughout his collegiate career, Chris continued to improve his game, eventually being named a two-time All-American, Team Captain and MVP.

Following his collegiate career, Chris decided to pursue his dream of becoming a professional golfer. He spent two seasons traveling and competing in professional events before making the decision to alter his career path.

In 2013, Chris returned to his alma mater, this time as the Assistant Men’s & Women’s Golf Coach. It was here that he discovered his true calling - coaching. Drawing upon his playing experience and knowledge, Chris began to help members of both teams enhance their games. It didn’t take long to realize his passion, and he dedicated the next four years to expanding his coaching knowledge, striving to help his students more. During his tenure at Johnson & Wales, he coached 10 All-Americans and helped the Men’s Team secure three consecutive Sun Conference Championships and became the Head Women’s Coach & Manager of Player Development for the Golf Management program.

In 2017, Chris returned to his home state of Massachusetts to accept a coaching role at KOHR Golf in Natick. For six seasons, he served as an Elite Academy Coach and Senior Golf Instructor. During this time, he provided private and group instruction to golfers of all ages and ability levels. As a junior academy coach, he leveraged his experience as a college coach to help his junior golfers achieve their dreams of playing college golf.

With a deep understanding of the game, Chris enjoys working in all areas of golf, tailoring his coaching to each individual’s unique needs. His clear and structured approach, along with his dedication to effective communication, ensure that his students have a clear path to improvement.
